OxiPhos® chemistry is approved in California for use on citrus crops. The systemic and on-contact bactericide and fungicide contains a combination of phosphorous acid and activated peroxide used to prevent and control diseases caused by the oomycete group of pathogens, specifically Root Rot (Phytophthora spp.). It is now approved to control disease in lemon, lime, kumquat, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine crops.
OxiPhos chemistry can be applied to indoor and outdoor grown crops up to and including the day of harvest. Adding citrus applications broadens the chemistry’s preharvest applications in California, the citrus capital of the nation.
