Now we can share a public attestation to the moral compass that’s guided our professional ambition all along by announcing our headquarters’ ISO certification with National Quality Assurance (NQA) in May for the 2022 year. NQA is a leading global independently accredited certification body, providing assessments (audits) of organizations to various management system standards since 1988. In our case, BioSafe Systems sought accreditation and our Quality Assurance and Quality Control Manager, Jess McGinn, spearheaded the achievement of our three distinct ISO management standards; Quality, Environmental, and Health and Safety Management.
ISO 9001 is the most widely used standard in the world for Quality Management Systems (QMS). ISO 14001 is the principal management system standard, which specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System and helps to control and reduce environmental impacts and ensure legal compliance.
ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases and improve productivity.
Each certification reinforces our commitment to the BioSafe Systems core values and illustrates to our partners that we’ve organized our systems to protect customer relations, our business’s reputation, employees’ safety, and the planet’s wellbeing.
