After two years of cancellations and virtual events, the New Jersey Water Environment Association held their annual conference in person, and it was a splash. Registered attendees and vendors attended the event representing every aspect of wastewater treatment. The aisles were filled with representatives from infrastructure companies, consulting engineers, chemical engineers, pump technologies, environmental departments, and teams of students networking among them. The event was a cacophony of knowledge being gathered and dispersed throughout the hall creating a high energy and positive atmosphere.
BioSafe Systems put together a very interactive booth including a BOOM speaker giveaway, and a roll-out putt-putt carpet. Representatives Tom Warmuth and Hannah Rouillard invited attendees to take a shot; with three chances to make a hole in one and the opportunity to take home a BioSafe Systems coffee mug. Successful putters took a photo holding their mug in front of the booth and we called it a “Mug Shot”.
We gave mugs out to chemical engineers, wastewater treatment plant operators, supervisors, environmental protection professionals, and some of the Operations Challenge competitors. Scroll through who we met and see if you recognize anyone.
